本人家住北市松山區，生長在管教開明且環境單純的家庭，父母為退休公教人員。自己於大學時就讀食品營養科系，退伍後選擇以半工讀的方式準備當時較感興趣的生物化學及分子生物學相關的研究所，並進入與以往所學不盡相同的領域做研究。在碩士班兩年的時間中，自己主要研究的主題是癌症的基因治療，所應用到技術為細胞培養以及小鼠的腫瘤引發模式，並尋求可能的基因治療方式。畢業之後之後考上博士班，就讀期間真切且深刻的體會研究工作的各種甘苦與辛酸。在人生成家結婚生子的階段中，輾轉歷經休學、轉換實驗室、重考等變動，也曾投入生技產業工作以及於北醫擔任研究助理；最終是在竹南國衛院癌研所完成自己的博士學位。

個人一直以來的生涯規劃即希望能投入教職，並期許自己能耐心完整的傳遞所學。身為人父之後更有深刻體會，孩子的無限未來可能性都是靠一點一滴學習累積起來成就的。而過去於康寧大學任教經驗更加確認自己理念；感恩自己有機會能站在講台上授課，雖然備課時花數倍於課堂上的時間，但看到同學真正體會了解課程內容時的神情，滿溢於心中的成就感與感動讓辛苦有了回報，也是自己持續的動力。

    I lived in Songshan District, Taipei and grew up in a family with an enlightened discipline. I studied in the dept. of Food and Nutrition in university. After I was honorary discharged from the military, I prepared for the biochemistry/molecular biology related research institutes that I was interesting in and entered into different fields as I had learned before. During the two years of the master's program, my research topic was gene therapy of cancer, and the techniques applied were cell culture, mice tumor bearing models, and sought possible gene therapy methods. After graduation, I was admitted to PhD program. During my studies, I really and profoundly experienced the joys and sorrows of research work since I went through changes such as suspension of studies, changing laboratories, and reexamination. I also worked in the biotechnology company and Taipei Medical College in this period. Finally, I completed my PhD degree at the Cancer Research Dept. of National Health Research Institute.

In my plan, I have always hoped to be a teacher and pass on what I have learned patiently and completely. After being a father, I have a more profound experience that the future possibilities of students are achieved by the accumulation of bit by bit learning. The past teaching experience at Kang Ning University has confirmed my philosophy and I am grateful for the opportunity to stand on the podium to teach. Although the preparation spent several times as much time as in class, it is full to see that students really understand the content of the course. The sense of accomplishment and touch that made my hard work repaid, and it was also my continuous motivation.
