I am presently serving as instructor of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Jen Te Junior College of Medical Nursing Management. Although I am very happy in my work and am doing well, I feel that I need to spend more time to conduct further research in the area of pilates . This is very important for my future career in an age where theory and practice is changing rapidly.
Physiotherapy is both my interest and my profession. In 1991, I graduated from Chung Shan Medical and Dental College with a BA in Rehabilitation Medicine. My major was in the field of physiotherapy. Between 1991 and 1995, I served as a physiotherapist at Chung Shan Medical and Dental affiliated Hospital. My principal responsibilities have been in the area of exercise training, and my experiences thus far have inspired me to continue on with advanced research in related subjects. In 1996, I was awarded an M.S. degree in Exercise Science by the National College of Physical Education & Sports. During my graduate studies, I majored in Sports Medicine and Biomechanisms. With this qualification, I entered Tzu-Chi Junior College of Nursing as a lecturer in the Department of Physiotherapy.
I have a firm theoretical and practical background, and I am very interested in pursuing the knowledge about pilates and widen my intellectual horizons. Most importantly, I will be in a position to make a real contribution to the education and training of the student in my school.
