著光幼年時對體育甚感興趣，受師長發覺與提攜努力學業的同時，並投身體育活動，文武兼修，不敢稍懈。及長，更秉持以往努力，在師長的教導之下，學業、體育同時並進，得幸參加多項國內外體育競賽，成績斐然。
     從小開始從事棒球運動的我因環境的關係開始改練田徑，在多年師長的指導下，有幸成績豐碩。乃此，引領我對體育教學之志向愈加深厚。所幸棒球運動我也沒有因此荒廢，且因練田徑讓我本身的體能及運動能力更加的提升。擔任教職以來有感於更上層樓始能完成碩士資格，得以完成體育教學的志向。
    「教育無他，愛與榜樣而已。」14年的教育工作以來，著光深感教育工作是一個極需發揮愛心與專業的一項工作。在這過程中，老師不但要具備正確的教育價值理念，心懷教育愛、鼓勵學生成長進步；同時也不斷需要與時俱進，主動積極、自我成長，做一個高附加價值的現代老師。
     擔任教職以來，對教學工作越發投入，樂於做一位快樂的老師。然而，教然後知不足，有感於知識日新月異、教育專業不斷向前，為恐不進則退，乃利用工作之餘繼續進修，充實所學，提升自我體育專業知識及本質學能。希望能教育出更多更傑出的學子。
